I’ve seen BT units running smoothly for well over a decade—but honestly, the one thing that always held them back was the battery.

The Honest Truth About Lead-Acid

Lead-acid batteries, let’s be real here, are a headache. You constantly check water levels, top them up, and deal with acid residue. And don’t even get me started on the charging times—eight hours or more, plus a mandatory cooling period. That distinct sulfur smell in the charging room? That’s not exactly something you want lingering around. Most lead-acid packs tap out at maybe 500 cycles if you’re lucky. For multi-shift operations, that means either buying spare batteries or watching productivity drop while everyone waits for a charge.
